چکیده
The environmental pollution due to wastewater, especially domestic is becoming more serious. Thus, this study was performed assess the removal of pollutants by combination wetland technology, specifically constructed (CW), with Para grass (Brachiaria mutica) together adsorption red sludge. With an organic loading rate (OLR) 120 (kg COD/ha/day), treatment efficiency for wastewater in quite high and concentrations parameters effluent were lower than limits established QCVN 14:2015/BTNMT which indicated feasibility combination. These results are expected open possibilities using environmentally friendly processes urban industrial areas.

Wastewater Treatment with Vertical Flow Constructed Wetland
Water is one of the most important elements involved in the creation and development of healthy life. Haphazard disposal of untreated wastewater from households as well as institutions and industry is causing severe deterioration of water bodies in many urban areas in the developing world. There are several methods to treat the municipal wastewater for intended use. One of the methods of the tr...

One of the ways to reduce the amount of wastewater pollution is the use of constructed wetlands. In this research, the performance of a hybrid constructed wetland with pumice ore and vetiver plant on urban wastewater has been investigated. Hybrid wetlands with these specifications were constructed in the vicinity of wastewater treatment at the Isfahan University of Technology. To evaluate the p...

This article describes a research attempt to integrate the dewatered alum sludge, a residual by-product of drinking water treatment process, into a constructed wetland (CW) system for the purpose of enhancing the wastewater treatment performance, thus developing a so called alum sludge-based constructed wetland system. A multi-dimensional research project including the batch tests of phosphorus...
متن کاملAn innovative solution for managing waterworks sludge: Developing an alum sludge-based multi-stage constructed wetland system for wastewater treatment
Waterworks sludge continues to be an inescapable by-product of the potable water treatment process. Accordingly, final disposal of the sludge remains one of the most significant pressing problems for the potable water treatment industry. The possibility of reusing the sludge as a main substrate in a novel constructed wetland system was investigated in this study. Results show that significant p...
